  • Well the chances of them hitting another aircraft would be remote. The onboard crash avoidance would have alerted the pilots but I suppose then again they weren't alerted by air traffic control trying to raise them.

  • No they shouldn't be revoked and fired. I can see firing them if they were sleeping or drinking on the job. A suspention is more than sufficient in my opinion. I guess it's practically impossible now to make a mistake and keep your job if your an licensed airline transport pilot.

  • I think female officers should be allowed but not female enlisted. Less chance of an issue if she's an officer.

  • Look, we have to face facts. The Afghan military (or lack thereof) is not able to handle this. Most of the men in their armed forces can't even read or write.

  • I'm all for airlines making a profit but the bag fee needs to go or drop to maybe $5 per bag. Who flys without a bag?
