When you have a 19 hour layover how do you not sleep and then decide to sleep on the plane your about to pilot? It makes no sence to me why they would sleep when they had all the time in the world to do so before AND bear in mind that the pilots lives are also at risk and why would they want to …

Just how may planes occupy the airspace above Wisconsin these days? You have a better chance of getting killed down on 94 then in the air.

Well the chances of them hitting another aircraft would be remote. The onboard crash avoidance would have alerted the pilots but I suppose then again they weren't alerted by air traffic control trying to raise them.

No they shouldn't be revoked and fired. I can see firing them if they were sleeping or drinking on the job. A suspention is more than sufficient in my opinion. I guess it's practically impossible now to make a mistake and keep your job if your an licensed airline transport pilot.

I think female officers should be allowed but not female enlisted. Less chance of an issue if she's an officer.

Look, we have to face facts. The Afghan military (or lack thereof) is not able to handle this. Most of the men in their armed forces can't even read or write.

I'm all for airlines making a profit but the bag fee needs to go or drop to maybe $5 per bag. Who flys without a bag?
Is the restitution paid by Texas to wrongly convicted people reasonable?

If we punish those responsible we would be punishing ourselves the jury. Wrong answer in my opinion.
